Hidden backstage at the brand-new ComedySportz on Belmont.

The new personal security store on Belmont & Clark knows what buttons to press... posted on the window? A list of police complaints from the past two weeks.

But more to the point...

Closed for February.. but which Clark Street business is it?

Aw, reggae-less February.
I was once told, as I passed by a group of lady birthday celebrators, that I "had it going on."

Modern art in the Punkin Donuts parking lot.

Snow News Day.

At a local coffee/tea shop. Some person with a marker has made the sign more apt.

Subway, having never recovered from their smashed window, closes for good.

Holy Encased Meats!

I enjoy the thought of someone sitting down with a pad of paper and coming up with a bunch of hilarious license plates.

Someone failed writing 101. This bulletin board makes it seem as if Larry usually takes on other things and is just now getting around to taking on guns and corruption.

I have no idea where this sign is from.

Sad and true.

2008 is here!

Abandoned keys.

Sad New Year's Hat.

A group of very drunk people attempting to get a cab on Clark Street at 2:30am. It was cold and wet.

I've been sick. Here's the view from my hospital bed, right off of Clark Street.

Weird hairpiece lodged within some garland. Like it was trying to hide or something.

All of the bars on Clark Street have this sign. It's sad that we have to remind people of these things. Particularly the "Sex offenders prey on customers who are easy targets."
If a grocery store had a sign that stated that their customers were frequently "easy targets", that store would be gone in 6 months.

Mmmmm... delicious Kefir.

Abandoned hilarious headband.

I have no idea what I'm supposed to beep.

Office lobby on Clark Street.

Man, this one made me laugh. These Starbucks mugs are being recalled. Why? The handles detach "when filled with hot liquids."

What is Cloverfield? A lame excuse for poor viral marketing? Or what is sure to be a billion dollar Blair Witch Project?

Happy New Year, y'all!

A building gets a deep facelift.

These vending machines litter the highways in Wisconsin. Live Bait! On Clark Street, in Chicago, there's a Live Bait Theater.

Fancy signage for the billion dollar company.

The lamp-posts get fancy, giant snowflakes.

Godzilla has a drinking problem.

This picture makes me cry.

Lost boots.

I'm sure this side-by-side placement was accidental.

This way we can remember where we parked.

Found this on the window ledge. Sadly, now no one will know who Monica is at XSport Fitness.

Found this at a Target store. Why doesn't Illinois have a little picture? That's racist!

Creepy doll head on a bicycle. What's with the doll/bike mods?

Blurry pic of a lost health insurance card. Two minutes after losing his card, Michael was struck by a car.

Another blurry pic. This time all the furniture from Salt & Pepper gets an airing out as the floors get cleaned.

Random Photos

Found some photos that somehow didn't make it to the ol' blog here. And some random stuff.

Hey, what's that note say?

Worst. Diary. Ever.

Made me laugh, but seems sensible.

Ironically enough, this car was parked across from an English as a Second Language School.

Not on Clark, but I was in Wisconsin and there was this weird sign at an indoor water park.

I'm not sure what the target demo for this sign is--

Remember, in Wrigleyville, the automatic fine for public urination is $500.
